The short version
- 01Charge the headset or both earbuds and inspect the device for visible damage.
- 02Select the Bluetooth output in Windows Sound settings and compare Left and Right volume levels.
- 03Check whether both the PC and headset support LE Audio before investigating LE-specific pairing.
- 04Remove the Windows pairing and place both earbuds in their charging cradle before pairing again.
- 05Accept the second-earbud connection prompt if Windows presents one.
- 06Compare another Bluetooth headset and use the original manufacturer's firmware or support route if needed.
Likely causes
- Left and right output levels are unbalanced.
- Only one earbud completed pairing, including after an LE Audio update.
- Low charge, damaged hardware or outdated device firmware affects one side.
Windows 11: compare charge and channel levels
Microsoft's one-channel procedure begins with charge and hardware inspection. In Settings > System > Sound, select the Bluetooth output and compare its Left and Right volume levels. Our recommendation is to use matching comfortable levels for the test, not automatically set maximum volume.
Repeat pairing with both earbuds present
Remove the device under Bluetooth & devices. Place both earbuds in their cradle and follow their manufacturer's pairing instructions. Add the Bluetooth device again and accept a second-earbud prompt if one appears. Microsoft documents incomplete pairing and LE Audio updates as possible triggers.
LE Audio needs support from both the headset and the PC; Bluetooth Low Energy capability alone does not establish LE Audio support. Use Microsoft's compatibility check before pursuing that branch.
Compare another headset before deciding on repair
Microsoft's test uses a second Bluetooth headset: working stereo there points toward the original device, while the same failure across devices points toward PC settings or drivers. Check the original manufacturer's firmware guidance and retain the comparison result for support.
