Likely causes
- Device information is preventing Netflix playback.
Start with a full shutdown
For D7361-1253, Netflix asks you to turn the computer off through its shutdown menu and leave it off for at least 10 seconds. Start it again and retry playback. Closing the Netflix window does not perform this step.
Check Windows Update
On Windows 11, open Start > Settings > Windows Update and check for updates. Install the updates offered and restart when prompted. Microsoft's Windows 10 menu puts Windows Update under Settings > Update & Security.
If Edge or the app still fails
Netflix's next option is Chrome or Firefox. Check its current browser and operating-system requirements before switching; an unsupported browser version is not a useful comparison. Our recommendation is to retry the same title and retain the result for support.
